Facile assembly of a graphitic carbon nitride film at an air/water interface for photoelectrochemical NADH regeneration

A graphitic carbon nitride film electrode could be assembled at an air/water interface from nanosheets which exhibits improved photoelectrochemical coenzyme regeneration by further coupling with graphene during the interfacial self-assembly.

Anthracene–styrene-substituted m-carborane derivatives: insights into the electronic and structural effects of substituents on photoluminescence

Efficient light emitters based on anthracene derivatives were developed. We prove that m-carborane is a perfect scaffold for coupling to anthracene giving rise to superb emitters in solution, while keeping the emission properties in aggregate state.

Exploiting cation aggregation in new magnesium amidohaloaluminate electrolytes for magnesium batteries

The active species in magnesium electrolytes is regularly assigned as being the thermodynamically stable dinuclear [Mg2Cl3]+ cation. By deliberately targeting other implicated aggregates, their effect on Mg-ion battery performance is easily ascertained.
