Electrochemical copolymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene and dithienothiophene: influence of feed ratio on electrical, optical and electrochromic properties

Three different copolymers P[EDOT-co-DTT] were electrochemically synthesized by using different feed ratios of monomers in MeCN/TBAClO4 medium. These copolymers show new properties as compared to homopolymers for electronic applications.

Facile preparation of a CoNiS/CF electrode by SILAR for a high sensitivity non-enzymatic glucose sensor

CoNiS/CF was prepared by a simple SILAR method for glucose sensor, which exhibited high sensitivity, good repeatability, and stability, and was able to detect glucose in real sample.

Preparation of nickel foam modified by multiwalled hollow spheres of NiCo2O4 as a promising non-enzymatic glucose sensor

Nickel foam modified by hollow sphere NiCo2O4 particles was successfully prepared via a hydrothermal method. Investigation of the NiCo2O4-modified nickel foam as an electrode for the detection of glucose in sodium hydroxide solution showed high linearity of the anodic currents.

When a plant shows deficiency syndromes, sometimes it becomes too late for the farmer to apply fertilizer, as most rely on checking plant leaves to assess their nutrition level. Electrochemical sensors can bring revolution here. Other pollutants (NPK) can also be determined using these sensors.

The role of solution temperature in characteristics of TiO2 nanotube arrays prepared on Ti foil in acid solution

The barrier layer thickness of the TNTs decrease with the solution temperature rises from −10 °C to 90 °C; the pulse temperature has an evident effect on the characteristics of TNTs in the case of two fixed temperatures.

Enhanced sensitivity in electrochemical detection of ochratoxin A within food samples using ferrocene- and aptamer-tethered gold nanoparticles on disposable electrodes

A highly sensitive yet simple-to-preare electrochemical aptasensor was designed for OTA biosensing in real samples. Ferrocene was introduced as a transducing agent, eliminating the need for a solution-based approach.

Fabrication and characterization of NiCu/GO and NiCu/rGO nanocomposites for fuel cell application

In our DAMFC study, NiCu/rGO has stronger catalytic activity than pure NiCu and NiCu/GO composites. rGO and GO supporters improved the NiCu performance by 468.2% and 377.7% in methanol and by 255.6% and 105.9% in ethanol, respectively.
