Detection of intracellular microRNA-21 for cancer diagnosis by a nanosystem containing a ZnO@polydopamine and DNAzyme probe

The novel nanosystem composed of ZnO@polydopamine nanomaterial and deoxyribozyme probe can be applied for ratiometric fluorescence assay for microRNA-21, which is helpful for cancer diagnosis and prognosis.

Automatic microdispenser-integrated multiplex enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay device with autonomously driven centrifugal microfluidic system

A design theory for an autonomously driven dispenser was established. The multiplexed ELISA device was integrated with the dispenser and CLOCK circuits, and successfully prepared a calibration curve of mouse IgG by rotating at a constant speed.

Ultra-high Q-factor and amplitude-tunable Fano resonance in vanadium dioxide–silicon hybrid metamaterials

We present a VO2-silicon metamaterial with Q factor up to 165 198 that can be used for terahertz sensing. By adjusting the conductivity of VO2, an optical switching function with a modulation depth of 98.9% can be realized.

Improved isoprene detection performance of Si-doped WO3 films deposited by sputtering and post-annealing

Sputtered films of Si-doped WO3 showed a good selective sensing for isoprene with rapid response/recovery times, which were less than 1.5 and 3.0 seconds, respectively.

Synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymer with a methacrylate derivative monomer for the isolation of ethyl p-methoxycinnamate as an active compound from Kaempferia galanga L. extracts

EPMC isolation using MI-SPE resulted in % recovery for each extract of 82.40% (ethanol), 68.50% (ethyl acetate), and 65.27% (n-hexane) MI-SPE 2.

Syntheses, structural, photophysical and theoretical studies of heteroleptic cycloplatinated guanidinate(1−) complexes bearing acetylacetonate and picolinate ancillary ligands

[Pt(TAG-κCN)(acac)] (TAG = triarylguanidinate(1−) ligands) were isolated and fully characterized. These complexes are bluish green light emitters and the origin of absorption/emission in selected complexes were studied by TD-DFT calculations.
