Preparation of cyclodextrin polymer-functionalized polyaniline/MXene composites for high-performance supercapacitor

PANI was successfully grown in situ on the surface of MXene derived from CDP. The composite exhibited a good specific surface area and high specific capacitance.

Investigation into the impact of CeO2 morphology regulation on the oxidation process of dichloromethane

Four distinct CeO2 catalysts featuring varied morphologies (nanorods, nanocubes, nanoparticles, and nano spindle-shaped) were synthesized through a hydrothermal process and subsequently employed in the oxidation of dichloromethane (DCM).

Synthesis and electrochemical evaluation of nickel hydroxide nanosheets with phase transition to nickel oxide

Nickel hydroxide nanosheets are perfectly synthesized, are 3–6 nm thin and exhibit a curly and wrinkled morphology with increasing surfactant concentration. They demonstrate OER activity and are transformed into nickel oxides via heat treatment.

One-step hydrothermal synthesis of a Ni3S2–FeMoO4 nanowire–nanosheet heterostructure array for synergistically boosted oxygen evolution reaction

We propose a one-step hydrothermal strategy to fabricate hierarchical Ni3S2–FeMoO4 nanowire–nanosheet heterostructures on NiFe-foam as structurally-integrated electrodes for synergistically boosted OER at high current density.

FeNi decorated nitrogen-doped hollow carbon spheres as ultra-stable bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst for rechargeable zinc–air battery with 2.7% decay after 300 hours cycling

The Zn–air battery assembled by the bifunctional FeNi@HMCS electrocatalyst displayed a maximum power density of 181.8 mW cm−2 and superior stability for over 300 hours.
