Two-dimensional architecture of N,S-codoped nanocarbon composites embedding few-layer MoS2 for efficient lithium storage

Two-dimensional hybrid nanosheets with intimately coupled carbon substrate and few-layer MoS2 are prepared through a universal pyrolysis method, exhibiting a high capacity of 781 mA h g−1 at a current density of 0.1 A g−1 for lithium ion batteries.

Shape-controlled synthesis of micro-/nanosized Cu particles with spherical and polyhedral shapes using the polyol process

Bandgap regulation and doping modification of Ga2−xCrxSe3 nanosheets

By adjusting the annealing temperature (150–300 °C) and introducing varying Cr doping concentrations, the optical bandgap of Ga2−xCrxSe3 was continuously tunable in the range of 2.23 to 2.80 eV.

Application of 3D printing for fabrication of superhydrophobic surfaces with reversible wettability

Synthesis and electrochemical evaluation of nickel hydroxide nanosheets with phase transition to nickel oxide

Nickel hydroxide nanosheets are perfectly synthesized, are 3–6 nm thin and exhibit a curly and wrinkled morphology with increasing surfactant concentration. They demonstrate OER activity and are transformed into nickel oxides via heat treatment.
