An ambipolar PEDOT-perfluorinated porphyrin electropolymer: application as an active material in energy storage systems

Development of a new n-p polymer based on the electropolymerization of a dual-functional porphyrin-EDOT monomer. The ambipolar polymeric material showed promising pseudocapacitive behavior for energy storage devices.

The synthesis and adsorption–dispersion properties of PPEGMA–PVPA copolymers in cement paste

A novel phosphate-containing polymer PPEGMA–PVPA was synthesized via solution radical copolymerization. The polymer exhibited better adsorption–dispersion performance in cement paste than the reference polycarboxylate superplasticizer.

Fe–Ni porphyrin/mesoporous titania thin film electrodes: a bioinspired nanoarchitecture for photoelectrocatalysis

Mesoporous TiO2 thin films with a crystalline structure were effectively produced and analyzed after modification with Fe and Ni porphyrins. The collaborative impact of these metal complexes was evaluated to determine if the simultaneous presence of both metalloporphyrins enhances the OER activity.

LiCl in situ decorated metal–organic framework (MOF)-derived porous carbon for efficient solar-driven atmospheric water harvesting

LiCl in situ decorated MOF-derived porous carbon sorbents (PCl-4) were prepared from Li-MOFs for atmospheric water harvesting. PCl-4 displays excellent water-capture capabilities and efficient solar-driven water release with nice recyclability.

Preparation and characterization of various PVPylated divalent metal-doped ferrite nanoparticles for magnetic hyperthermia

We report the preparation of a panel of biocompatible PVPylated divalent metal-doped MFe2O4 (M= Co, Ni, Zn, Mg, and Sn) ferrites and assess their magneto-thermal abilities for hyperthermia applications. The heating performance directly correlated to their observed magnetic saturation and anisotropy.

Sono-responsive smart nanoliposomes for precise and rapid hemostasis application

A sono-responsive smart nanoliposome loaded with thrombin (TNL) was developed. The structure of TNL collapses under ultrasonic activation and swiftly releases thrombin from the cavity, thereby achieving a precise and rapid local hemostasis.

Here, a molecularly imprinted polymer film (MIP) was prepared on the surface of a disposable carbon screen-printed electrode (C-SPE) using (3-acrylamidopropyl)trimethylammonium chloride (AMPTMA) as a functional monomer and the cancer biomarker carbohydrate antigen 15-3 (CA 15-3) as a template.

Vanadium pentoxide interfacial layer enables high performance all-solid-state thin film batteries

Carbon nitride/polyimide porous film via an NIPS method with advanced dielectric and hydrophobicity properties

An ultra-low dielectric porous polyimide film with ε′ ∼1.6@1 MHz was fabricated by an NIPS method. FAS-grafted carbon nitride nanosheets endowed the porous film with advanced hydrophobicity and thermomechanical properties.
