A fluorene-bridged double carbonyl/amine multiresonant thermally activated delayed fluorescence emitter for efficient green OLEDs

We report a fluorene-bridged double carbonyl/amine-based MR TADF emitter DDiKTa-F. The OLEDs exhibited narrower, red-shifted emission and reduced efficiency roll-off compared to the device with the previously reported, conformationally flexible DDiKTa.

Tailoring the subshell and electronic structure of an atomically precise AuAg alloy nanocluster

We synthesized and characterized an alkynyl-protected Au34Ag27 nanocluster, revealing a metallic core subshell structural difference with one missing Ag atom compared to Au34Ag28. This leads to modulated electronic structure and optical properties.

About this collection

Chemical Communications will be publishing its 60th volume in 2024. Over the past 60 years, ChemComm has been the RSC’s most cited journal, and one of the most trusted venues for rapid publication of short communications. In our anniversary year, we recognise the important contributions ChemComm has made, and continues to make, in advancing the chemical sciences.
