Mn-Catalyzed azidation–peroxidation of alkenes

Abstract

Mn-Catalyzed azidation–peroxidation of alkenes with TMSN3 and TBHP has been developed. With this method, a variety of β-peroxyl azides have been synthesized from simple and readily available starting materials. Furthermore, the obtained β-peroxyl azides could be converted to α-azido carbonyl products, aldehydes or ketones, and triazole products under mild reaction conditions.
