Metal catalysed Michael additions in ionic liquids

Abstract

The ionic liquid [bmim][BF4] (1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate) was used as innovative solvent for a recyclable catalytic system active in metal promoted Michael additions employing Ni(acac)2 as catalyst.
