Aminoporphyrinic acid as a new template for polypeptide design

Abstract

The α,α,α,α-atropisomer of 5, 10, 15, 20-tetrakis(2-amino-5-methoxycarbonylphenyl)prophyrin, methyl ester of an aminoporphyrinic acid, is efficiently prepared and combined with amino acid as the building block for an artificial membrane protein.
