Tricarbonylnitrosyliron derivatives of germanium, tin, and lead

Abstract

The preparations and properties are described of a number of compounds of two general types, Ph3M[Fe(CO)2L(NO)] and PhnSn[Fe(CO)3NO]4–n where M = Ge, Sn, or Pb; L = CO or P(OPh)3; and n= 0—3. Carbonyl and nitrosyl stretching frequencies for cyclohexane solutions of all the compounds are given.
