Electrochemical formation of rhodium(II) complexes

Abstract

The electrochemical preparation of a novel reduced rhodium species is described. From its properties and reactions, it is suggested that this species is a dimeric rhodium(II) complex, [(H2O)(en)2RhRh(en)2(H2O)]4+, when en is ethylenediamine.
