X-Ray study of 16-bromomyricanol; the structure of myricanol, a natural m,m-bridged bent biphenyl

Abstract

Bromomyricanol is shown by X-ray diffraction to have the structure (III); structures (I) and (II) follow for the natural biphenyls myricanol and myricanone.
