Some observations on ferromagnetic iron(III) oxide monohydroxide

Abstract

The effects of dehydration in vacuo have been investigated on the content of the ferromagnetic compound in samples of iron(II) hydroxide oxidised in alkaline solution. The evidence supports the view that the ferromagnetic compound is an iron(III) oxide monohydroxide.
