Twenty 3-methylenamino-4(3H)-quinazolone derivatives were synthesized via imine formation. Compounds 5, 6, and 7 showed potent cytotoxicity against RD and MDA-MB-231, low toxicity to normal cells, and strong EGFR binding, with good ADMET profiles.

We report the synthesis of 1H-benzo[d][1,3]oxazine-2,4-diones from 2-aminobenzoic acids, using fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl (Fmoc), benzyloxycarbonyl (Cbz) and ethyloxycarbonyl (EtOCO) groups as the source of carbonyloxy group, and thionyl chloride.

Toward high-density streptavidin arrays on DNA origami nanostructures

Streptavidin binding to DNA origami-supported high-density biotin arrays is investigated for selected experimental parameters. While bidentate binding and steric hindrance can be minimized, molecular crowding limits the binding yields in 2D arrays.

Comparative study of monoclinic and cubic WO3 nanoplates on NO2 gas-sensing properties

Cubic and monoclinic WO3 nanoplates were synthesized from WO3·nH2O via calcination at 200 °C for 2 h. The monoclinic WO3-based sensor showed the highest response of 1329.3 to 2.5 ppm NO2 at 150 °C.

Nanocage-based {SnEr2}-organic framework for high catalytic performance in cycloaddition of CO2 with epoxides and Knoevenagel condensation

A dual-functional {SnEr}-MOF (TYUT-13a) with hierarchical porosity enables >98% CO2 cycloaddition conversion (4 h, 65 °C, 1 atm) and >97% Knoevenagel yield, outperforming monometallic MOFs via synergistic Lewis acid (Sn/Er) and basic (N) sites.

Synthesis, biological activities and computational studies of bis-Schiff base derivatives of 4-hydroxyacetophenone: insights from an in vitro, molecular docking and dynamics simulation approach

4-Hydroxyacetophenone derivatives were synthesized and characterized. These compounds exhibited promising cholinesterase inhibition, supported by docking and DFT studies that revealed strong binding interactions and favorable electronic properties.
