Coordinated water modulation for proton conductivity via post-synthetic transmetalation in yttrium-based coordination polymers

Post-synthetic transmetalation of a Y-based coordination polymer with K+ converts terminal H2O into μ-bridging ligands, enhancing acidity with donation of proton. This boosts conductivity, highlighting transmetalation as a manner for efficient SSPCs.

Time dependence of water-induced phase transition in nano- and microcrystalline Eu3+-doped MOF-76(Y): different luminescence responses with memory effect

A deep study on the water induced-phase transition from the 3D MOF-76 structure to the 1D LnBTC coordination polymer is presented. The initial particle size of MOF-76(Y0.95Eu0.05) has a lasting impact on the luminescence of the transformed material.

Excellent electrocatalytic performance of CuCo2S4 nanowires for high-efficiency overall water splitting in alkaline and seawater media

CuCo2S4 nanowires were synthesized via hydrothermal and air annealing. They showed excellent HER performance with low overpotentials of 86.2 mV in KOH and 91.2 mV in seawater. For the OER, the overpotential decreased from 282.8 mV in KOH to 255.6 mV in seawater.
