Mechanochemical templated synthesis of mesoporous alumina-supported polyoxometalate catalysts toward selective oxidation of sulfides

We report a green, solvent-free mechanochemical method for mesoporous alumina-supported polyoxometalate catalysts. They exhibit a high surface area of up to 644 m2 g−1 and exceptional reactivity for sulfide oxidation, across multiple cycles.
