Dynamic behavior of macrocycle-based organic frameworks in single-crystal to single-crystal guest exchanges

Abstract

An adamantane-based macrocycle with pyrazine parts produced three inclusion crystals possessing different shapes and sizes of one-dimensional channels. Single-crystal to single-crystal guest exchanges occurred for two crystals. The supramolecular organic frameworks were structurally changed for one crystal and preserved for the other.
