A high-Tc organic-ionic phase transition crystal obtained from a trivalent cation

Abstract

Previously, organic-ionic crystal phase transition materials have mainly focused on mono- or divalent organic amine cations, while higher valent amine cations have rarely been introduced. Here, we have selected a ring-shaped trivalent organic amine, triethylenetriamine, in order to construct a high-Tc phase transition material, triethylenetriammonium trichloride ([HTETA]3+ 3[Cl]).
