Visible-light photoredox catalysis-enabled borocyclopropanation of alkenes

Abstract

Reported herein is a convenient method for the synthesis of cyclopropyl boronates via visible-light photoredox-catalyzed borocyclopropanation of alkenes. Its wide substrate scope with regard to various substituted alkenes, good functional group tolerance, mild reaction conditions and the ease of operation all constitute the striking features of this protocol.
