A new and highly active catalyst for homogeneous hydrogenation

Abstract

Trichlorotripyridylrhodium treated with sodium borohydride in dimethylformamide gives a complex [py2 dmf RhCl2(BH4)] which is highly active in homogeneous hydrogenation.
