In situ electrocatalytic H2O2 synthesis over TiO2 nanocrystal/porous carbon yolk–shell composites with oxygen functional group modulation
Abstract
Here, we report a TiO2 nanocrystal/porous carbon yolk–shell composite that exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance, featuring a high onset potential and >90% H2O2 selectivity. Systematic analyses reveal that enhanced oxygen functionalization and reduced TiO2 nanocrystal size are key to simultaneously improving selectivity and activity. The optimized catalyst, TNC/C-4, further demonstrates superior electro-Fenton degradation of phenol, enabling rapid and efficient pollutant removal.
