Chiral intercalation in layered cyano-bridged metal frameworks

Abstract

In this work, a series of chiral nanomaterials have been successfully constructed by intercalating chiral molecules of α-methylbenzylamine into diverse layered cyano-bridged metal frameworks through host–guest interaction. These unique layered chiral nanomaterials show enhanced CO2 photoreduction activity with the CO production rate up to 40.4 mmol h−1 g−1.
