Nearly monodisperse Dy2Sn2O7 nanospheres: hydrothermal synthesis without a template or surfactant and effective sonocatalytic performance

Abstract

Nearly monodisperse Dy2Sn2O7 materials have been prepared VIA a one-step hydrothermal method by changing the pH of the reaction solution. The nanoparticles were used for sonocatalytic degradation of Acid blue (AB) in aqueous solution and the results showed that the Dy2Sn2O7 had a sonocatalytic degradation rate of over 99.9%.
