A novel luminescent phosphor of a metal–organic framework with orange-red emission

Abstract

A novel metal–organic framework was rationally designed and successfully constructed using carboxylic acid and pyridine derivatives as bilinkers. The 2-fold interpenetration structure is advantageous for stabilizing the skeleton up to ca. 350 °C, and it possesses good photoluminescence properties with orange-red emission.
