An incisive optical recognition of monohydrogen phosphate by a fluorescein based chemodosimeter
Numerous methods for determination of phosphates (H2PO4–, HPO42–, PO43–, PPi) are described in the literature. However, design of optical probes which are able to recognize spcifically monohydrogen phosphate (MHP) ion i.e. HPO42– has been rarely considered. We herein devised an incisive chemodosimeter (FLH) for detecting HPO42– over other members of phosphates successfully.
