Supramolecular Catalytic Synthesis of A Novel Bis(salicylaldehyde hydrazone) Ligand for Ratiometric Recognition of AT-DNA

Abstract

Hydrazone-bond formation under physiological condition remains challenging. In this study, a supramolecular-macrocycle catalyzed synthesis of bis(salicylaldehyde hydrazone) (2) under physiological condition is described and the geometry-switch induced AT-DNA ratiometric sensing property of 2 is found.
