An over 10% enhancement of dye-sensitized solar cell efficiency by tuning nanoparticle packing

Abstract

Tuning the packing of materials in electrode films enabled highly efficient charge transport and a slowdown in recombination that were witnessed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). When used in dye-sensitized solar cell preparation, this led to significant enhancements of the overall solar power conversion efficiency by up to 11.7%.
