Luminescence from π–π stacked bipyridines through arene–perfluoroarene interactions

Abstract

Red-shifted photoluminescence is observed in the co-crystal of arene- and perfluoroarene-attached bipyridines, which is a perfectly layered array through arene–perfluoroarene interactions.
