Polyhedral building block with specific facial interaction for conducting supramolecular self-assembly

Author affiliations

Abstract

A novel dimeric donor with an edge-sliced tetrahedral shape was synthesized. This dimeric donor consists of two donor planes which are connected in a perpendicular orientation by four diselenatrimethylene chains, and can be regarded as a pre-organized building block for constructing a conductive supramolecular self-assembly containing log-stack type channels of a three-dimensional topology.
