Catalysis of the hydrolysis of phosphorus acids esters by the mixed micelles of long-chain amines and cetylpyridinium bromide

Abstract

Self-association of long-chain amines and formation of mixed micelles, including cetylpyridinium bromide, influence the rate and the direction of the O,O-(bis-p-nitrophenyl)methylphosphonate hydrolysis; characteristic parameters of the micellar aggregates have been obtained by kinetic methods and 1H NMR spectroscopy.
