Synthesis of alkenyl-2,5-dihydrofurans via palladium-catalysed reaction of cyclic alkynyl carbonates

Abstract

Cyclic alkynyl carbonates react with electron-deficient alkenes in the presence of palladium catalysts to selectively afford alkenyl-2,5-dihydrofurans vis tandem C–C and C–O bond formation.
