Two fragmentation pathways of radical reduced transients of aryltrimethylammonium cations in water. Photoelectron injection study

Abstract

The decay rates of radical reduced transients (RRTs) of aryltrimethylammonium cations (5 × 103–2.5 × 108 s–1) and the reduction potentials of RRT decay products E½=–(1.06–1.47) V (vs. SCE) have been determined in water using photoelectron injection.
