Intercalation and oxidative polymerization of aniline in zirconium phosphates
Abstract
The aniline monomer was encapsulated into the interlayer space of zirconium phosphates by either ion exchange or adsorption and was then polymerized by chemical oxidative methods. The morphology and properties of polyaniline intercalated in and isolated from zirconium phosphate hosts are different from those of polyaniline obtained by polymerization in aqueous solutions.
