A single monoclinic crystal of the isopolymolybdate(VI) salt (Bun4N)2[Mo6O19] when treated with an alkylaluminium compound is an efficient and totally recoverable heterogeneous catalyst for the ring-opening metathesis polymerization of norbornene.
