Novel synthesis of conjugated bisperfluoroalkyl enynes

Abstract

Conjugated bisperfluoroalkyl enynes can be conveniently synthesized in 85–99% yield by vacuum pyrolysis of {[α-(perfluoroalkyl)vinyl](perfluoroacyl)methylene}triphenylphosphoranes which were generated from the corresponding methylene triphenylphosphoranes via double perfluoroacylation in a one-pot reaction.
