Abstract

NC- and CC-Conjugated ketenimines have been synthesized as key intermediates through a Wittig-type reaction of imino- or methylene-phosphoranes with isocyanates or diphenylketene, and have been converted into hetero(carbo)cycles via cycloadditions.
