Abstract

Treatment of trans-[ReCl(N2)(dppe)2](dppe = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) with NCR affords trans-[ReCl(NCR)(dppe)2](1; R = Me, C6H4Me-4, C6H4OMe-4, or C6H4F-4); (1, R = C6H4OMe-4) gives [ReCl(N[double bond, length half m-dash]CHR)(dppe)2][BF4] on treatment with HBF4.
