Poly[1,4-di-(2-thienyl)benzene]: a new conducting polymer

Abstract

Electrochemical polymerization of 1,4-di-(2-thienyl)benzene leads to a new conductive polymer with an electrical conductivity of 1 × 10–4 S cm–1 when doped with ClO4 ions.
