The synthesis, structures, and co-ordination chemistry of a new class of polypyrazolylborate ligands, HB(3-Rpz)3–, are presented, where R is a t-butyl or phenyl group in the 3-position of pyrazole; the structures of the cobalt complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography.
