Synthesis of macrobicyclic ligands containing pyrazole subunits: the N,N′-bipyrazolyl cryptand

Abstract

The pyrazolyl cryptands [bpz.bpz.bpz](1) and [2.2.bpz](2) have been obtained in a one-step, non high-dilution macrobicyclization reaction, from a 1,1′-bipyrazole derivative; similarly, tripodal ligands (7)–(9) with pyrazole structure are described.
