Stereoselective γ-cis-vinylic metallation of tertiary allylic alcohols

Abstract

Tertiary allylic alcohols are converted by Bun Li–tetramethylethylenediamine into the γ-cis-vinyl-lithium derivatives which can be alkylated in moderate yields.
