Analytical figures of merit for low-temperature luminescence of polynuclear aromatic compounds

Abstract

Low-temperature (77 K) luminescence figures of merit for several polynuclear aromatic compounds are presented. Fluorescence figures of merit for 41 compounds are included with detection limits ranging from 0.001 to 0.1 µg ml–1 for most compounds with an average relative standard deviation of 5.4%. Phosphorescence figures of merit for 60 compounds are included with detection limits ranging from 0.0004 to 4 µg ml–1 and an average relative standard deviation of 5.8%.
