Fluorine atom shift in 1,2-difluoroethyl radicals

Abstract

Subsequent to the addition of tritium atoms to trans- and cis-1,2-difluoroethylene, the resultant 1,2-difluoroethyl radical undergoes a 1,2-F-shift via a bridged intermediate to give CHT[double bond, length half m-dash]CF2 as a final decomposition product.
