The rearrangements of 2-amino-N-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-ylacetamide and 2-amino-N-4-pyrimidinylacetamide

Abstract

2-Amino-N-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-ylacetamide (1) and 2-amino-N-4-pyrimidinylacetamide (6) undergo rearrangement to 3H-imidazo[1,2-c]pyrazolo [4,3-e]pyrimidin-2(7H)-one (2) and imidazo[1,2-c] pyrimidin-2(3H)-one (7), respectively, which in turn rearrange readily to N-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-ylglycine (5) and N-4-pyrimidinylglycine (8), respectively.
