Measurement of the coupling constants 1J(57Fe–13C) and 1J(57Fe–31P) in phosphine and carbonyl complexes of iron

Abstract

1 J(57Fe–13C) for [Fe(CO)5] and 1J(57Fe–31P) for [Fe(CO)4(PEtnPh3–n)](n= 1–3) are reported; it is concluded that these complexes probably undergo intramolecular carbonyl exchange at room temperature.
