Non-rigid carbon–carbon double bonds: conformational assignments of keten methyl trimethylsilyl acetals

Abstract

An n.m.r. study of keten methyl trimethylsilyl acetals shows that substitution effects can permit free rotation of the carbon–carbon double bond at room temperature.
