1H nuclear magnetic resonance evidence for the pseudo-octahedral geometry and ready racemization of [1,1,1-tris(pyridine-2-carboxaldiminomethyl)ethane]iron(II)

Abstract

From 1H n.m.r. studies the trigonal hexadentate complex, [1,1,1-tris(pyridine-2-carboxaldiminomethyl)ethane]iron(II), is shown to possess a pseudo-octahedral geometry and to racemize readily.
