The hydrolysis of arsenatopenta-amminecobalt(III) in acidic solution

Abstract

A kinetic and oxygen-18 tracer study of the hydrolysis of arsenatopenta-amminecobalt(III) in the pH range 2·58 to 4·96 shows that the hydrolysis rate law contains acid-dependent terms, and that the position of bond fission is between oxygen and arsenic.
