Effects of tetra-n-butylammonium perchlorate on the chain transfer constants in the cationic polymerization of N-vinylcarbazole

Abstract

Determination of chain transfer constants of methanol in the cationic polymerization of N-vinyl-carbazole in the presence and absence of Bun4NClO4 provides a new method to study free-ion and ion-pair mechanisms of propagation.
