The preparations of polyfluoroaromatic derivatives of ferrocene, C5H5FeC5H4R and (RC5H4)2Fe (R = CO·C6F5, CH2·C6F5, C6F5, or C6F4·OCH3-p), are described, and the spectroscopic properties of these compounds are discussed. The formation of two polynuclear ferrocene compounds is also reported.
